Mr. Malik is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice Chairman and one of the founding partners of BMA Capital. Mr. Malik has over 22 years experience of business in the UK, Middle East and in Pakistan’s financial markets and has been a member of BMA’s Executive Management Committee. He has been responsible for building two core businesses for BMA, namely Corporate Finance and BMA Trade, the firm’s nationwide retail equity business. Mr. Malik’s advisory experience includes the first ever privatisation in Pakistan’s capital markets, and advising Pakistan’s Ministry of Science & Technology on the deregulation of the telecom sector, which ultimately led to explosive growth in Pakistan.

Mr. Malik has a Masters in Management from MIT Sloan School, Cambridge, USA, and a B.Sc in Electronics from University of Sussex, Falmer, UK.

Mr. Khan is one of the founding partners and former CEO of BMA Capital. Presently he is an Executive Director of BMA Capital and Executive Vice Chairman of BMA. With 24 years of experience, he has extensive knowledge and understanding of the capital markets and financial sector in Pakistan and has been closely involved in guiding and growing all the business areas in BMA. Mr. Khan has worked on many landmark transactions of Pakistan, having been instrumentally involved in BMA’s achievement of becoming the leader in privatisation and financial advisory in the country. Mr. Khan previously served as Director of Treasury and Investment Banking at American Express Bank.

He was selected by Euromoney as one of the top 50 financial leaders, aged 40 and under, from around the world. He is an active member of the Young President’s Organisation (YPO) and has been past president of the Pakistan Chapter. He was President of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) for the year 2009-10. Mr. Khan qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in their London office in 1986. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Manchester, in the United Kingdom, in 1982. Mr. Khan enjoys reading, collecting fine art, and listening to music. He is married with three children. His philanthropic interests include children’s health and education.

Mr. Khan has extensive experience in financial advisory and has worked on landmark transactions including the privatisation of PTC, OGDC, and others. Mr. Khan has 15 years industry experience, previously with Morgan Stanley in the UK as Head of Investment Grade Sovereign Research. With 5 years at BMA, Mr. Khan received his Bachelor’s in economics from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA, and holds a US series 7 financial markets qualification.

Mr. Khan is an expert in the areas of investment banking, corporate finance, consulting and other capital market matters. He has advised on more than 25 equity, capital market, M&A and debt related transactions, which provided him an excellent knowledge of Pakistan financial & capital markets. He has over 13 years of professional experience and has been with Corporate Finance & Advisory group in BMA for over 5 years. His key transaction experience includes the telecom, banking, energy, industrial and services sector.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in 2003.

Mr. Ahsan Chishty has overall responsibility for trading, execution and business development of institutional equities, fixed income and the foreign exchange brokerage desks. Mr. Chishty has been in the industry for 8 years, as Chief Economist with Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan and for UBL. With BMA for 3 years, Mr. Chishty has a Bachelors (Hons) degree from the Lahore University of management Sciences (LUMS)

Ms. Khan has been associated with BMA Capital since 2004 and has played a key role in developing the International Sales desk and positioning BMA Capital as one of the market leaders in international brokerage. She is currently heading Sales and Trading for the Equities group and has been successful in establishing BMA Capital’s competitive advantage by utilizing her experience of International Brokerage. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Greenwich University.

Mr. Iqbal is Head of Foreign Exchange trading, as well as settlement, operations and research. Mr. Iqbal started his career at BMA, and has been with the firm for the past ten years. He has an MBA from Hamdard University.

Mr. Aslam is Head of Research for BMA Capital, spearheading the research effort and maintaining BMA’s house view on asset allocation and overall capital market strategy. Mr. Aslam has been with BMA since 2006, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and completed his CFA examinations in 2009

Mr. Iqbal has over 15 years of experience in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Audit and is CFO for the BMA Group. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Mr. Iqbal has been with BMA for 7 years. Previously Mr. Iqbal worked as Financial Controller for Gulistan Group of Companies

Mr. Salim Khan has been instrumental in helping to re-engineer BMA. With BMA since 2004, he establishing the Human Resources department and many of the Group’s support departments, as well as contributing to BMA’s overall strategic direction. He has over 25 years experience in corporate human resources and HR and strategy consulting. He holds Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Mr. Ahmad has 15 years’ experience in marketing, investment, and consulting. He has been with BMA for 5 years. Mr. Ahmad trained as an investment banker at JP Morgan Securities in New York, and previously managed South Asia’s leading rock group, Junoon. He has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles

Mr. Hussain has been with BMA since 2004, and has 12 years IT experience. Mr. Hussain was previously with Computer Research as Project Manager and has managed different software projects for Citibank, Instaphone, and Faysal Bank. Mr. Hussain has a Master’s degree in Information Technology and completed several IT professional courses.
