Wall Street Journal quotes Muddassar M. Malik on appointment of Dr. Hafeez Shaikh

Pakistan named Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, a former World Bank executive, to head the finance ministry, ending weeks of uncertainty caused by the incumbent's unexpected exit. "He is experienced and strong on delivery. His appointment will give a lot of confidence to the stock market and to investors," said Muddassar Malik, chief executive of BMA Capital Funds, a Karachi-based asset management company.
